Orin Cooley-Greene

Orin is a Regional Coordinator in the Plant-Based Universities Core Team, helping local university teams to campaign for 100% plant-based catering. He has been vegan for four years, starting activism after a transformative meditation retreat in 2022.

His first major outing was a sit-in on Westminster Bridge, with Animal Rebellion, in 2022. He went on to be involved in several other actions with Animal Rising and other groups as well as helping run the Plant-Based Universities Campaign at Southampton. He is very interested in principled nonviolence and rebuilding relationships through social change.
