Joe Wills
Dr Joe Wills is a lecturer in law at the University of Leicester. He has published widely in the fields of human rights law and animal rights law. He provides academic consultancy and research for several animal protection organisations including the UK Centre for Animal Law, Advocates for Animals, Animal Think Tank, the Animal Activist Defense Project and the Nonhuman Rights Project. He is on the Board of Advisers to the Animal Law Foundation and has co-ordinated and drafted legal briefs in several high-profile animal rights cases including the infamous ‘Happy the Elephant’ case heard before the New York Court of Appeals
